I told you so - reluctantly accepting the belated vindication I had long written off.

This was originally a facebook post I put up on April 24, 2023, along with a video clip extracted from the second last episode of the final season of the show "Snowfall". 

It appears posting that clip violates copyright laws and I dont have the patience to fight them on it. Basically its a clip of a young black druglord in Los Angeles pouring scalding hot oil on the CIA agent that had been supplying him with cocaine before betraying him in some way. I forget. Go watch the show.

This is a clip from the show Snowfall. 

In it, CIA agent Teddy McDonald, who had drafted a young black kid, Frankling Saint, to sell cocaine in LA and then stole all his money, is now being interrogated by the same kid. 

As you can see, this poor hard working minority Entrepreneur who worked his a** off to get out of the gheto and get a peice of the American dream the only way America allowed black people to share in that dream (crime), has had to resort to "enhanced interrogation techniques"

This scene pretty much perfectly captures all the nuances of #racerelations in America. If America doesnt do right by black people for what they did to them, this scene will become a reality sooner or later. 

It also serves as a good metaphor for the #IsraeliPalestinianconflict.

As a voting, tax-paying #americancitizen, I feel entitled to make the following statement:

The day America realizes that the continued insistence of #Israel on maintaining their occupation of the #WestBank and #Gaza , their theft of #Palestinians land and resources and their constant violation and desecration of #AlAqsa, the #IbrahimiMosque and other Muslim holy places, makes Israel a bigger liability than an asset, they will cut Israel loose faster than the CIA cut Teddy and left him to get devoured by the people he screwed over. 

Im surprised they havent already. Israel provides no non-replaceable resources or services. It's provocations continually threaten widespread upheavel in the Muslim world, the stability of freindly regimes run by compliant dictators and monarchs, a nuclear #Iran and most importantly, America's control over the energy resources that can keep its own dominance afloat while stymying the rise of #China.

And once Israel no longer has America's skirts to hide behind, it's not going to last more than a few weeks. If that. Smotrich, Ben-Gvir and all those clinging to their dream of destroying Al Aqsa to build their Third Temple need to stop their chest thumping and sit and reflect on this. 

How long does Israel think it can get away with its crimes against Muslims? They talk of their "1000 year state". You really think America will be around for that long? You think the Muslims in whose midst you decided to perpetrate your ethnic cleansing and genocide will just....go away? 

We have seen the coming and going of Crusaders, Mongols, Turks, France, England. They all came and went; but Islam remained in the hearts of the people there. Even ended up taking root in the hearts of some of those invaders, and ended up expanding it's sphere of influence. 

Do you really think that your clever lies, distortions, social engineering, efforts at paying traitors and turncoats to spread mischieve and trying to divide us along sectarian, national and gender lines will erase a faith so deeply rooted in our souls? 

You are People of the Book. You are our cousins. We are not Christians, and we do not hold you responsible for the death of what we consider our saviour. We have protections for Jews built into the very foundation of our faith. We have long been nicer to you than Christian Europe ever was. 

You are still in the nascent stages of your nation's history. Do you really want it's founding to always be remembered by its neighbors as a catastrophe and injustice that remains to be addressed? Do you think this will keep you safe from the ocean of Muslims you chose to set up shop among indefinitely? 

There is still time to salvage this. Would'nt you rather try to make ammends for your crimes and try to integrate with the region instead of  being permanently cast as a hated pariah? 

There are innocent people living in Israel. Jews, Muslims, Christians. 

I would hate to see anyone of them suffer due to the arrogance of their leaders and the refusal to let go of the golden calf of ultra-Zionist delusions and messianic fervor. Those who care more about their visions of Jewish dominance between the river and the sea than the lives of the Jews they use as human shields and hide behind. 

But we will not compromise on justice. We will not forgive until the injustice ceases, by our hand or otherwise, and people can live in peace once more. 

If Israel is really serious about existing as a country in the Middle East, it's going to have to realize that using force to bend the Muslim world to its will is not an effective long term strategy. In fact all it's doing is give Muslims more reasons to deny mercy to them the day their illusion of invulnerability is shattered and they realize how completely weak and helpless they are. 

Except the Palestinians will be pouring burning white phosphorous on Israeli criminals instead of cooking oil. 

Only fair given how they had to watch their own children get horrifically burned and maimed for life from Israeli white phosphorus bombs. 

As the Torah says: 

"Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."

It would only be fitting. 

I really hope you do the right thing.
