So...I should be an a***hole? 

I mean fine with me, I can be the biggest a**hole possible if I feel it's called for. But people don't seem to like that.

I guess it depends on how we define "nice". Some draw a distinction between niceness and kindness, which I have found somewhat helpful.

But I'm not down with this villification of "niceness". You can complain about codependency and using service as a form of manipulation, sometimes that's a valid criticism. 

Being a generally nice person to me simply means that we acknowledge that we should, be default, treat others with respect, consideration, kindness and empathy. 

Ofcourse, if someone mistakes your niceness or kindness for weakness, you enforce boundaries. Truth and justice are the highest expressions of love. And if you truly care about the well being of others, you are willing to take actions in the best interests of all involved, even if it means dissapointing someone you love or care about.

But the wholesale rejection of the very concept of "niceness" strikes me as an attempt to encourage the profound selfishness and narcissism on which it seems "capitalist" society is predicated on. 

An encouragement of the same narcissistic characteristics of selfish sociopaths who are able to acquire disproportionate wealth on account of their utter lack of moral conscience or sense of responsibility to anything higher than themselves. 

This results in a society that eventually becomes arranged as a narcissitic fractal; the same behavioral and cognitive patterns can be observed at varying levels of magnification, from the individual and the family through organized institutions and enterprise all the way to government and culture. 

The problem is, you now have a population that elevates selfishness to such a sacrosanct position that women begin to be drawn to sociopathic criminals they see as "bad boys", who are really just the psychopathic narcissitic "R strategy" men you complain about in your other videos.

Conversely, women can become gold diggers willing to abandon their commitments and families everything they think there's even a slight chance of getting more than what they have with their current partner, leaving their "beta-male simp" exes forever in the lurch. 

This is to say nothing of the conditioning of men to pursue relationships in what becomes, by default, a predatory mode. The impact of large scale narcissitic conditioning is by no means confined along gender or ethnic background, extending across all dimensions even if it's fruit bears the flavor of the soil in which it takes root. 

I like your theories on psychology and philosophy, Dr. Peterson. But I find your rigid polemicism towards one end of the political spectrum...off-putting, frankly. It undermines my faith in your objectivity as a theoretician. 

This hyperfixation on "post-modernist Marxists" and identifying them as the root of all evil in your beloved "Western civilization" strikes me as disingenuous McCarthyite propaganda best left as a relic of the cold war.

It feels like the weak attempt of the right wing division of the social engineering project to resurrect the zombie of the spectre of communism to garner support for capitalist malfeasance, because trying to use Islam as your boogeyman just...didn't work. 

You devote alot of attention to the evils of Marxism and the sins of those who tried to follow it, and yet completely sidestep and ignore the profound immorality of the capitalist establishment.

You talk about the millions who died under communism while never once addressing things like colonialism, the Atlantic slave trade, the British getting China hooked on drugs or American corporations using what, by your own descriptions of communism, amounts to slave labor in the form of Chinese workers being pimped out by a Chinese Communist Party that's only too happy to work with western capitalists. 

I'm not saying any of these things proves the inherent moral or practical value or either communism or capitalism. All I'm saying is that you cheapen your work and thought by basically becoming an unofficial Fox News affiliate. 

You talk about how rich people only ever get rich through hard work, and aggressively shut down any suggestion that a simple demographic analysis of the wealthy shows that they at the very least, needed access to resources in addition to any innate talent in order to "succeed". To say nothing of the fact that the willingness to break the rules does in fact yield positive outcomes for sociopaths willing to game the system for their ends. It comes of as narcissitic DARVO. 

Just take a look at the distribution of the income of parents of Nobel laureate sometime. 

Ignoring the fact that the capitalist power structure is no more immune to infection by selfish sociopaths, just as communism or any other power structure to have existed in history, makes it hard to take you any more seriously than the "defund the police" crowd. You come off as simply another sock puppet in the children's theatre of contemporary politics. 

This severe anathema to any idea of social responsibility, the idea of devoting yourself to something higher than yourself, the idea of broader social responsibility and the necessity for collective action when it comes to any meaningful human enterprise, eventually begins to conflict with your other teachings. 

I understand that capitalists and their idealogues are terrified of any suggestion of sacrifice or responsibility or that its okay for people not to act like selfish a**holes. 

They know that this is actually pretty much the core principle behind basically every ethical system ever devised( except Satanists, I suppose). 

Thats why they have to spend inordinate amounts of energy to convince people that selfishness is actually good, otherwise people will expect them not to be selfish a***holes and instead insist on holding them accountable. 

Which is why "only the weak demand rights, focus on yourself alone and prioritize your needs above all". 

But then you wonder why some people decide they need to be addressed using a certain set of pronouns and they don't give a f*** about imposing that demand on the world, regardless of the inconvenience it might cause or the tyranny it would require to implement.

You complain about the prevalence of sexual promiscuity, without addressing how it is just one more instance where capitalism decided to abandon morals and social responsibility to pursue profit at all costs. 

Which is why they corrupted the very fabric of social relations because "sex sells" and people wouldn't spend nearly as much money on drinks, clothes, trips, gifts and status symbols if they committed to stable monogamous marriage instead of having to constantly impress and attract new partners. 

Or even just f*** who they want when they want with reckless abandon because they grew up in a culture fabricated by selfish narcissists to breed selfish narcissists. Gotta get people on board to feed the Epstein/Weinstein grist mill. 

You can bash socialism and communism all you want. Most of your criticisms are valid, if imbalanced. Communism gave us the first satellite, a space program that outlasted NASA and embarrassingly was relied on BY NASA, and the Ak-47. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

But maybe you should reevaluate this veneration of strength and independence and the willingness to use power and force in pursuit of your goals, this primacy of self which you have set up as the sole components of a vision of "masculinity" you are trying to sell to an audience of insecure males who are about to overcorrect and become incels.

Maybe you need to start exploring themes of service, duty, sacrifice and loyalty to something beyond oneself. 'World-improvement" in addition to just "self improvement". Or what my Jewish cousins would call "tikkun Olam"

You are trying to commoditize Nietzsche for the masses. Which, again, is ironic because for all your contempt and derision of "social justice warriors", this in a strange way makes you one yourself. 

You forget that Nietzsche despised the rabble, that he never intended his thought to be implemented at scale. 

And do not forget, that if man is a rope stretched between the animal and the Overman , a constant overcoming, then Nietzsche himself must be overcome. 

Don't forget that this is a man who had a nervous breakdown when he saw a man whipping a horse in the street. 

Sometimes, I think under his self aggrandizing and egotistical philosophizing, was someone who cared deeply about suffering. 

In fact, his whole philosophy appears to me to be the work of a man who, bitter at the lack of love and compassion that he wished to see in the world and perhaps was denied, embraced and elevated the selfish notion of the "will to power" out of fear and mania, as a kind of...Stockholm syndrome towards human suffering and cruelty. 

And one day, he couldn't put up the pretense anymore, collapsed and got sent to an insane asylum where he died. 

So much for the Prophet of Egotism. 

People are the most valuable resource we have. What seperates us from the apes is not that we have better sticks to opress each other with, but our greater capacity to cooperate in pursuit of goals that are impossible to achieve individually. 

Creating an atomized society of narcissists who focus solely on pumping weights at the gym or reading whatever inane, Bestseller list curriculum they need to in order to be able to hold themselves out as intellectually developed, is going to limit the capacity for cooperative enterprise. 

Based on my experiences working at some of the biggest enterprises in the world, this appears to have already begun. I have seen waste and inefficiency from the petty politics of selfish egotists focused more on their perceived interests than the goals of the enterprise that would turn the stomach of the most hardened socialist bureaucrat. 

The other area that's concerning is the army. 

Their recruitment numbers are in the toilet. The people they CAN recruit tend to have higher rates of disciplinary problems and deviant/selfish behaviour. 

Is it any wonder then that despite having the most advanced and powerful military in history, the west keeps getting humiliated by illiterate peasants utterly devoted to a greater cause and willing to sacrifice themselves without a second thought? Need I point to Vietnam and Afghanistan? 

It's one thing to lose at imperialist misadventures, but if the Russians or the Chinese decide to start some sh**, we're going to be in a world of sh** if we find out that years of telling people things like "greed is good" and "loyalty is for suckers" has left us with an army of deserters and cowards unwilling to sacrifice for a greater cause. 

This is why I take whatever you say with a grain of salt. I don't know that you have fully worked through the implications and conflicts in your statements in a cohesive way. 

Either that, or you made a conscious decision to sacrifice truth for the sake of something as vulgar as a political agenda.

Go shed a tear, Dr Jordan B Peterson  for how the dirty immigrants are ruining your precious Eurochristian civilization. Should have stayed the f*** out of brown peoples countries instead of draining them of resources and carrying off to your cushy metropoles with the hoard and then wondering why the starving darkies keeps turning up at your door.

Some white people are just upset that it turns out democracy and capitalism don't really need them, and can function just as well if not better once truly open markets allow for the free movement of the goods and services without regard to preserving the useless cultural sensitivities of a eurochristian segment well into decline and bitter at losing out to plebians and foreigners. 

So they have to make an issue out of Hijabs and Halal food and engage in other pointless display of cultural tyranny. 

This is pretty much the same mentality behind Harvards policy of denying Asian applicants with better objective scores on the grounds of lack of "cultural fitness". Cos they didn't waste time on stupid bullsh** like musical theatre or whatever in high school. 

And any failure to meet the rituals of "Western liberalism" becomes an excuse to deny people their freedom or a fair share of the fruits of their labor and preserve the stranglehold on the social, political and economic structures of society by legacy operators desperate to cling to their undeserved positions at all costs. 

Just because their people got off the boats first and they've been around longer. 

Oh and because their great great grandaddy built some of the sh** they are now too stupid, lazy and cheap to operate without the help of immigrant labor.

I don't take Dr Jordan B Peterson seriously anymore. Not that I ever really did, he smelled like a pathetic fascist psyop from a mile away. He used to give you nuggets of coherent scientific insight, but now hes just a full time sock puppet. Nothing he says has value anymore because it's apparent he's just a disingenuous charlatan. 

In a recent post, he bemoans Twitter as the biggest source of strife in his life. He whines about people "engaging with conflict and negativity" on social media.

Unless ofcourse he is the one perpetrating. 

What a load of horsesh**.

Why is Twitter the bane of Peterson's existence? 

Oh because he has to edit and censor himself in accordance with what will ellicit the optimum response from the audience. 

Laughably pathetic hypocrisy from a man who goes around claiming to be the carrying the weight of Free Speech rights on his solitary, bespoke suited shoulders. 

Say what's on your mind fam. Speak your truth. Let the chips fall where they may.
